A Quick Little Note Concerning Navigation

On the main menu, you can see several primary topics (in dark red) under which are lists for individual pages.  Select a topic of interest, such as 'Foundation' and click on any link under it (and since you're new, click on the first link in the list).

From a particular Web page, you can of course click the 'Menu' button on that page to return to the main menu.  In addition, to gain a continuity of knowledge about a particular primary topic, within it you may move in sequence from page to page simply be clicking 'Advance' under the partizan (or you may step back a page by clicking 'Retreat' under the halberd).

Sergeant Subtlelus says:
The partizan was typically borne by an officer whereas the halberd was carried by a sergeant. Both were used to emphasize commands by their positioning and to indicate direction.  Should the fight come to close quarters, these may serve as weapons, too.
