November 15, 1942 Beach Cliff's Lizette UD passes tracking test, first Sheltie to pass tracking test
November 6, 1946 Ripple Laddie UD passes tracking test, first male Sheltie to pass tracking test
October 7, 1947 AKC separates tracking from UD, and begins to award separate Tracking Dog (TD) title
1948 Christopher Boy, later UDT, earns first Sheltie 200 score in obedience
November 19, 1950 Sea Isle Little Tinker UDT passes TD test, first TD Sheltie
March 21, 1953 Christopher Boy UDT passes TD test
October 18, 1953 Ch. Sea Isle Wee Bairn UDT passes TD test, first TD/Champion Sheltie
April 8, 1962 Dusty's Chiquita UDT passes tracking test

December 1969 AKC publishes TD title for Grayfield Peach Brandy Am Can Ber UDT, Can UDTX, first dog of ANY breed to hold the UDT in US, Canada & Bermuda
October 22, 1972 Susanne's Katie O'Toon UDT, daughter of Chiquita's Susanne UDT, passes tracking test to make first three generation set of Sheltie trackers
November 11, 1972 Ch. Heather Glen As Handsome Does UDT passes TD test
September 30, 1973 Heather Glen Easter Bonnet UDT, dam of Ch. Heather Glen As Handsome Does UDT, passes TD test
